Botpress – A Complete Platform for Building and Deploying AI Agents and Chatbots

Botpress is a platform for building and deploying AI agents and chatbots, utilizing the latest large language models (LLMs) to ensure natural and fluent conversations. The platform allows you to import your data from various sources, including websites, Doc/PDF/TXT documents, etc., to personalize your chatbot. Its vectorized database captures user input and automatically syncs with your database and systems. Botpress supports integration with over 100 tools, enabling you to seamlessly integrate your chatbot into popular tools such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Zendesk, and more.

5 Steps to Create and Deploy a Chatbot

STEP 1. Go to the Botpress website, https://botpress.com/, and click “Sign up” in the top right corner to create an account. Botpress offers a free subscription, allowing you to create 5 bots and 2,000 bot triggers.

STEP 2. Log in to your account and go to the Botpress Cloud dashboard, then click the “New bot” button to create your first bot.

STEP 3. Select the bot you created and click the “Edit in studio” button to start editing your chatbot. Depending on the tasks your bot needs to perform, such as event booking, placing orders, welcoming new users, or handling post-sales issues, you can build different conversation flows, import various knowledge bases, and set different responses.

STEP 4. In the Botpress studio dashboard, hold down the shortcut key Ctrl + E (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + E (Mac) to open a chat simulator. You can use this to test your chatbot and experience conversing with it. Click the “…” at the top of the simulator and select “New conversation” or “Start as new user” to reset the conversation. “New conversation” will only delete temporary variables and start a new conversation, while “Start as new user” will delete any saved user variables and start the entire conversation from the beginning.

STEP 5. Once you have finished editing your chatbot, simply click the “Publish” button in the top right corner of the Studio dashboard to deploy your chatbot to the cloud.

5 步创建和发布一个聊天机器人

STEP 1. 去到 Botpress 官网，https://botpress.com/ ，右上角点击 Sign up 注册一个帐户。Botpress 提供有免费订阅，允许你创建 5 个机器人和 2,000 次触发机器人。

STEP 2. 登录你的账号进到 Botpress Cloud 面板，然后点击 “New bot” 按钮创建你的第一个机器人。

STEP 3. 选中你创建的机器人，点击 “Edit in studio” 按钮就可开始编辑你的聊天机器人。根据你的机器人要执行的任务，例如活动预订、下单、欢迎新用户、售后问题处理等，你可构建不同的对话流程、导入不同知识库、设定不同的回复话语。

STEP 4. 在 Botpress studio 面板中按住快捷键 ctrl + E (Windows/Linux) 或 cmd + E (Mac) 可以打开一个聊天模拟器，你可以用它来测试你的聊天机器人，体验与之交谈。击模拟器顶部 “…” 并选择「新建对话」或「作为新用户开始」来重置对话。「新建对话」只会删除临时变量并开始一个新对话，而「作为新用户开始」会删除用户保存的任何变量，从头开始整个对话。
